Unicron is the eternal arch-enemy of his twin brother Primus. If any of this wouldn’t work let me know, but we can all wish our Engineer took care of the Necromorphs for good. He's been ignoring Galactus's C&D letters. While Dead space might be over, at least it seems possible that Humanity could win, or put up a fight at the very least. Leaving the rest of the moon as a rocky mess that we would probably be able to deal with as well. And say that maybe 5-10% of a Moon is made out of the planet judging by Tal volantus, that’s only 5-10 percent of it and the rest of its body would be gone. Flesh isn’t very sturdy, and bone wouldn’t be able to do much against a Rail gun or a massive bomb. Or pull a Halo like scene by detonating a ship (Terra Nova maybe? I assume other ships like it would work as well) on the Moons. So what’s not to say we have some new bombs of some sort that could destroy planets if we wanted to? Maybe some massive rail gun that could punch a hole clean through one of the Moons? At the very least injure the moons. Now Dead space 3 is set in 2511 if I’m correct, and at that point humanity can warp itself around the galaxy, pull massive chunks out of planets, (Although I assume that wouldn’t work to well, seeing Issac pull chunks out of the Moons with a planet cracker would be pretty satisfying) slow time with Stasis, etc.

At the moment we don’t have enough nukes on Earth to completely destroy our moon but we could do considerable damage to it, and there are 6-8 Moons in total. The Brethren moons are made out of flesh and bone and some chunks of a planet, so they could in theory be vaporised or burned in a way.
